Who are you?

My name is Nick, though many online also know me as “thewebguy” I’m a technologist, current sysadmin (totally not a bofh I promise), free and open source software advocate, and lover of the outdoors.

Tales from the shell is my personal blog where I share interesting tell stories from the IT field, share security blunders and tips, lessons, and and discuss current events.

When I’m not wrangling servers I like to spend a lot of time outdoors and probably spend as much time, if not more, in the woods than I do in front of a terminal.
